Jaimee L. Ward is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois as well as the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Ward graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with High Distinction and College Honors in 1999. She received her Juris Doctor in 2003 from The John Marshall Law School. Additionally, Ms. Ward received her Master of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Quincy University in 2013.
After completing law school Ms. Ward worked as a Municipal Prosecutor for the Office of Corporate Counsel for the City of Chicago and where she represented the City in administrative hearings against vehicle owners where vehicles were impounded for drugs, weapons, solicitation of prostitution, DUI, or false temporary registration and where the penalty imposed was a fine.
Upon leaving her position with the Office of Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, Ms. Ward pursued private practice in real estate law. Thereafter Ms. Ward was an Underwriting Attorney for Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATGF), where she routinely assisted attorneys in clearing real estate title issues. Ms. Ward has also practiced in the areas of criminal defense, workers’ compensation and personal injury law. Ms. Ward was a Project Manager at ATGF for a Fannie Mae project involving approximately 3,000 Fannie Mae properties as they are sold to third party buyers after foreclosure. Ms. Ward has presented at several continuing legal education seminars given by ATGF and The Chicago Bar Association on real estate topics. In addition to her continued work in real estate law, Ms. Ward has been an Instructor for several years at The Center for Legal Studies teaching the live Paralegal Certificate Course as well as online Advanced Paralegal Courses in: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Education Law and Victim Advocacy. More recently, Ms. Ward has taken on the positions of Director of Real Estate and Housing and Director of Vocational Programs at The Bernard Coffey Veterans Foundation.
